The Flojet FG005 is a compact 12 V water pump designed for distributing fresh water on board. It suits simple installations with a tap or a small water outlet when a lightweight, automatic, and compact pump is needed.
The supplier Kent’s datasheet lists a maximum flow rate of 3.8 l/min, a shut-off pressure switch at 2.4 bar, a power draw of 2.5 A at 1 bar, and barbed fittings of 3/8". The pump is self-priming up to 1.8 m and can run dry for short periods without immediate damage.
It is a suitable choice for small fresh water circuits, secondary installations, or compact replacements, with a recommended fuse protection of 4 A.
