The Furuno MOD-Z072-100+ network cable is an Ethernet connectivity solution designed for Furuno marine electronics systems. With a length of 10 meters and a 4-pair construction, this RJ45-to-RJ45 cable facilitates the extension of onboard network infrastructures.
Extended connectivity and compatibility
This cable is compatible with a wide range of Furuno equipment, including NavNet VX1, VX2, and 3D systems. It supports communication between multifunction displays (MFDs) such as the FEA-2100, FEA-2105, DCU12, DCU8, MFD8, and MFD12, as well as network sounders DFF3 and DFF1. The MOD-Z072-100+ can also be used with the HUB-101 Ethernet hub and various marine radars, including the FAR-2167DS, 2167DS-BB, and 2167DS-D.
Specific applications
The Furuno MOD-Z072-100+ network cable is a crossover LAN cable suitable for extending Ethernet radar connections. It is compatible with DRS2D, DRS4D, DRS4A, DRS6A, DRS12A, and DRS25A radar sensors. For specific configurations, such as with the DFF3-UHD network fishfinder, it can be used in combination with the TL-CAT-012 junction box.
