Detailed description
Detailed description
The Fusion MS-AP12000 marine monoblock amplifier is designed for dedicated subwoofer performance, integrating with the Fusion Apollo marine entertainment system. This Class D amplifier is specifically engineered to operate optimally with Fusion DSP-compatible stereo systems and speakers, ensuring an optimized audio experience.
Audio Performance and System Compatibility
The MS-AP12000 delivers a maximum output power of 2000 watts. It provides 650 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms and 1100 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohms, compliant with CEA-2006 standards. Its Class D design ensures high energy efficiency, reducing the vessel’s battery drain. Exclusive integration with Fusion DSP-compatible marine stereo systems (such as Apollo RA770, RA670, WB670, and MS-RA210) and Fusion speakers/subwoofers enables automatic optimization of audio parameters via the Easy Tune function, managed through the Fusion-Link™ app.
Marine Design and Durability
Featuring Fusion True-Marine™ design, this amplifier is tested to withstand harsh marine environments, including salt fog, temperature fluctuations, vibrations, and UV exposure. Its IPX2 rating indicates resistance to water splashes. The printed circuit board (PCB) is coated with a conformal coating for enhanced protection against marine elements. The powder-coated aluminum housing provides a durable finish. An ignition protection system is integrated, with a 125 A electronic fuse that guards against overcurrent, undervoltage, short circuits, and overheating without requiring replacement. An LED indicator provides visual feedback on electrical currents, short circuits, and temperature for quick diagnostics.
Installation and Technical Specifications
Installation is simplified with an included mounting bracket for quick attachment or surface mounting with countersunk screws. The unit must be mounted in a dry, well-ventilated location, away from extreme temperatures, fuel, and vapors. Its physical dimensions (without bracket) are 235 x 180 x 45 mm (9.25" x 7.06" x 1.75") and it weighs 2.2 kg (4.85 lb). It operates on a voltage range of 10.8 V to 16 V DC and within a temperature range of 0° to 50° C (32° to 122° F). Standby power consumption is less than 5 mA at 14.4 V, with a maximum consumption of 87 A.
