Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for direct and reliable marine audio control, the Fusion NRX50 remote is intended for managing the essential features of a single onboard stereo system. It integrates marine audio systems via the NMEA 2000® network, providing a simple and intuitive user interface for marine environments. Its physical dimensions are 5.97 cm (H) x 5.97 cm (W) x 5.18 cm (D).
Connectivity and Marine Robustness
The Fusion NRX50 is rated IPX7, ensuring protection against temporary immersion and moisture in marine environments. It operates on a 10.8 to 16 VDC power supply and connects to the NMEA 2000® network via a micro-C port, with an NMEA 2000 LEN of 2 (100 mA). This connectivity enables harmonized control of audio zones within the same stereo system across the vessel. The remote can also be connected to a dedicated Fusion control network if the main stereo source can provide the required power.
Installation and Features
For installation, the Fusion NRX50 remote requires a 38 mm (1.5 inch) hole for flush mounting on the dashboard. Its weight is approximately 0.23 kg (0.50 lb). It features a large rotary knob for easy volume adjustment, even while underway, and a push-button for play/pause functions. This model does not support wireless control via the Fusion app or ANT connectivity.
