Designed specifically for the marine environment, the Fusion MS-RA70 stereo with Bluetooth offers a compact and functional audio entertainment solution. With a class AB amplifier delivering a peak power of 200W (50W x 4 channels) and 25W RMS x 4 channels under 4 Ohms, it efficiently powers your boat. Its monochrome LCD screen 128x64 optically bonded (2.6 inches) ensures clear visibility even in bright sunlight and is designed to prevent fogging, guaranteeing optimal use in various lighting conditions.
Connectivity and audio management
The MS-RA70 integrates Bluetooth for A2DP audio streaming with AVRCP control, allowing connection of up to eight compatible devices within a maximum range of 10 meters. A rear USB port supports MP3 audio file playback, compatibility with iPod/iPhone devices via the IAP2 protocol, and Android via AOA, along with a 1A charging function. It also features an AM/FM tuner with RDS and a stereo RCA auxiliary input for external sources. The system has two independent and amplified audio zones, with localized volume controls and the ability to name each zone. Pre-amplified outputs and a subwoofer output (for zone 1) are also included, requiring external amplification. DAB+ compatibility is possible by adding the optional Fusion MS-DAB100 module.
Marine design and integration
The front panel of the MS-RA70 is IPx7 certified, ensuring resistance to temporary immersion, while the rear of the unit is rated IPx3. Its marine construction is reinforced by a fiberglass-reinforced composite chassis and an aluminum heat sink with VCT cooling technology, eliminating the need for an external fan. The DIN standard format design facilitates replacement of older non-marine units, offering flush or recessed mounting options. It supports Fusion-Link control via Bluetooth, allowing management from a smartphone (iOS or Android) or a compatible Garmin ANT-connected smartwatch. Operating on a voltage of 10.8–16 VDC with a 15A fuse, this unit is designed for reliability. Unlike more advanced models such as the Apollo series, the MS-RA70 positions itself as an essential and robust marine audio solution focused on ease of use and efficient Bluetooth connectivity, ideal for boats not requiring complex native NMEA 2000 integration.
