Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for optimal performance in deep waters, the Garmin AIRMAR® B175L through-hull transducer with 0° tilt integrates CHIRP technology. This transducer delivers 1 kW of power and operates on the low-frequency CHIRP band, from 40 to 60 kHz, providing a total bandwidth of 20 kHz in a single installation.
Performance and precision in deep waters
The B175L transducer can reach a maximum depth of up to 914 meters (3,000 feet), with rapid response depth and water temperature readings. Its ceramic element is fixed at a 0° angle within the housing, compensating for hull angles from 0° to 7°. This design ensures the sonar beam is directed straight toward the bottom, guaranteeing accurate echo returns and reliable depth readings without requiring an external fairing block.
Design and compatibility
The low-profile bronze housing of the Garmin AIRMAR® B175L transducer protrudes less than 0.6 cm from the hull, making it compatible with trailers and cradles without risk of damage. This bronze material is recommended for fiberglass and wooden hulls. The transducer comes with a 12-meter (39-foot) cable and an 8-pin connector, compatible with Garmin devices. It also features patented Xducer ID® technology.
