Detailed coverage and integrated data
The geographic coverage includes all of Italy, the Adriatic Sea, the Po River, the Adriatic coasts of Slovenia, Croatia, and Albania, as well as the west coast of Greece. They also cover southern Italy, eastern Sicily, the Strait of Messina, the Dalmatian coast, the Gulf of Taranto, and major Italian lakes such as Lake Maggiore, Lake Iseo, Lake Como, and Lake Garda. The charts provide comprehensive nautical information on depths, buoy locations, navigation hazards, ports, coastlines, and underwater features.
Advanced navigation features
These charts integrate Auto Guidance+ technology, which calculates suggested routes from dock to dock, taking into account the vessel’s draft and air draft, displaying the recommended path on the chart. Depth Range Shading allows users to select up to 10 color options to highlight specific target depths. Bathymetric contours down to 30 cm (1') provide detailed representations of the seabed structure, useful for fishing and navigation in complex areas. The Shallow Water Shading feature lets you set a specific depth to tint shallow areas, providing a clear visual warning. Access to the ActiveCaptain community integrates points of interest (POIs) such as marinas, anchorages, and hazards. NOAA raster mapping is downloadable via the ActiveCaptain app, offering paper-chart-like views for NOAA-covered areas. Standard 2D views are also available.
