The design of this adapter includes latches on the hinge of the landscape-mode mount and on the adapter itself. Secure Installation
The AS-TLOCK-ADAPTOR is designed to be securely fastened to the shaft mount using a locking washer and a 1 1/8 inch screw, with the appropriate hex tool. The installation process requires hand tightening until the locking washer is fully compressed, followed by an additional quarter turn. This fastening method is crucial to prevent the transducer from detaching during use, ensuring the reliability of the entire Humminbird system.
