The Iridium GO! exec satellite router represents the next generation of portable connectivity for remote navigators and professionals. Leveraging the Iridium Certus 100 network, this device offers global pole-to-pole coverage, enabling reliable voice and data communications where terrestrial networks are unavailable.
Performance and network Iridium Certus 100
Unlike the first generation of Iridium GO!, which was limited to 2.4 Kbps, the exec version delivers speeds of up to 22 Kbps upload and 88 Kbps download. This increased bandwidth allows for the use of messaging apps like WhatsApp, the downloading of larger GRIB weather files, sending emails with attachments, and smoother web browsing. The router includes a secure Wi-Fi hotspot that allows multiple smartphones, tablets, or laptops to connect simultaneously.
Robust design and autonomy
Designed for marine and extreme environments, the Iridium GO! exec boasts an IP65 rating, making it water and dust resistant. Its compact design incorporates a high-capacity battery offering up to 6 hours of talk or data transmission time, and up to 24 hours of standby time. It also features two independent voice lines, allowing for high-quality calls directly from the dedicated app or via the integrated speakerphone. Weighing just 2.4 kg, it's easy to pack in a survival bag or mount on a chart table.
