The Lowrance EAGLE SPLITSHOT HD Skimmer XDCR depth sounder is designed for Lowrance Eagle fishfinders, offering enhanced underwater visualization. This 8-pin transducer integrates CHIRP wide-angle sonar and high-resolution DownScan Imaging™ for a detailed view beneath the boat.
Advanced Sonar Technologies
The EAGLE SPLITSHOT HD Skimmer transducer uses SplitShot HD technology for precise underwater imaging. It combines CHIRP wide-angle sonar operating on mid/high frequencies (83/200 kHz) with high-resolution DownScan Imaging™. This combination enables clear and detailed detection of fish and underwater structures. Maximum detection depth reaches 304 m (1000 ft) at 200 kHz. The transducer measures depth and water temperature.
FishReveal™ Functionality
FishReveal™ technology is integrated, merging DownScan Imaging data with CHIRP sonar data. This feature simplifies fish identification by improving target separation, making it easier to distinguish between fish, vegetation, and submerged structures. The depth sounder provides better clarity and sensitivity for the user.
Installation and Technical Specifications
The depth sounder comes with a 6 m (19.5 ft) cable. Mounting options include the transom, bow thruster, and hull penetration. For optimal performance, the ideal mounting location is in undisturbed water flow, avoiding areas behind chines or trim flaps that can create turbulence. The transducer weight without cable is 0.11 kg. It operates within a temperature range of 0 °C to +50 °C and can be stored from -30 °C to +70 °C.
