The Lowrance Elite FS 12 is a chartplotter and fishfinder designed for fishing, featuring a 12-inch multi-touch display. The unit delivers a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels with a brightness exceeding 1200 nits, pure white LED backlighting, and an anti-reflective coating for optimized visibility in all conditions.
Sonar and Charting Capabilities
The Elite FS 12 is compatible with Lowrance’s advanced fishfinder technologies, including ActiveTarget™ 2 Live Sonar, Active Imaging™ 3-in-1, and Active Imaging™ HD 3-in-1 (requiring the S3100 sonar module). It supports CHIRP sonar and features the exclusive FishReveal™ function, which overlays CHIRP fish targets onto high-resolution DownScan Imaging™ views. For navigation, the unit comes preloaded with C-MAP® Discover Onboard charts, including 1-foot contours for 19,000 U.S. lakes and 9,400 Canadian lakes, as well as coastal coverage. It also supports C-MAP® Easy Routing, Navionics® Autorouting™, and C-MAP Genesis Live for real-time custom chart creation.
Connectivity and System Integration
This chartplotter is equipped with integrated wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), NMEA 2000®, NMEA 0183, and Ethernet. Its high-sensitivity internal GPS receiver, compatible with multi-satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo) at a 10 Hz update rate, ensures precise positioning. The Elite FS 12 allows full touch control of electric trolling motors such as Recon and Ghost®, as well as Power Pole® anchors. It is also compatible with radar systems and the SiriusXM weather module (WM4 sold separately). The Ethernet networking function enables sharing of sonar data, charts, waypoints, and other user information across multiple displays. The unit includes a microSD slot supporting cards up to 32 GB and can store 3,000 waypoints and 100 routes.
