Detailed description
Detailed description
The TripleShot HD Lowrance transom mount support is designed for secure installation and optimal performance of the TripleShot HD transducer and the Eagle Eye transducer. This mount is an essential component for Lowrance Eagle fishfinders, providing a robust mounting solution for underwater detection capabilities. It allows positioning the transducer to effectively capture sonar signals.
Technical specifications of the supported transducer
The support is specifically designed for the TripleShot HD transducer, which integrates High CHIRP sonar, DownScan Imaging™, and SideScan Imaging™ technologies. This transducer offers frequencies of 200 kHz/High CHIRP for traditional sonar, as well as 455 kHz and 800 kHz for DownScan Imaging™ and SideScan®. It can reach a maximum depth of 152 meters (500 feet) in traditional sonar at 200 kHz, 91 meters (300 feet) in DownScan at 455 kHz, and 183 meters (600 feet) to the side in SideScan at 455 kHz. The transducer is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor and operates at temperatures from -15°C to +55°C. It can maintain sonar performance up to a speed of 57 knots (55 mph).
Installation and durability
The support comes with the necessary mounting hardware. During installation, it is recommended to avoid sanding fairings and flaps that can create turbulence, and to prioritize an undisturbed water flow for the transducer. Specific pilot hole diameters are indicated for different hull materials: Ø 3.7-4.0 mm for soft materials such as plywood, and Ø 4.2-4.7 mm for hard materials such as fiberglass or acrylic. Applying a high-quality marine sealant is essential for pilot holes. The support allows optimizing the transducer angle for detection performance.
