The Mastervolt CombiMaster inverter charger 12/3000-100 230V is a combined solution designed for onboard power supply and energy management. This unit integrates an inverter and a battery charger, providing stable AC output from a DC source and efficient battery charging.
Inverter and Charger Performance
With a nominal DC voltage of 12 V (range 10.2 to 16 V), the CombiMaster delivers an AC output voltage of 230 V at a configurable frequency of 50/60 Hz. It provides a continuous power output of 3000 VA / 2600 W at 40 °C, with peak power capabilities up to 6000 VA / 5200 W for 5 seconds. The integrated charger has a maximum charging current of 100 A and supports lead-acid, AGM, and gel battery types. The AC input voltage range for charging is 170 to 280 V, with an automatic IUoUo / 3-stage+ charging characteristic.
Integration and Advanced Features
The CombiMaster includes an automatic AC transfer system for constant power supply, switching between generator/grid and inverter. Its Power Assist function prevents fuse tripping when connected to a weak dock line or small generator. Compatibility with MasterBus, CZone, and NMEA 2000 enables extended monitoring and system integration. Remote control and monitoring are possible via SmartRemote displays, EasyView 5, Touch 5, Touch 10, or third-party multifunction displays. The unit is also generator-compatible.
Design and Physical Specifications
Designed for quick installation with robust connections, the CombiMaster measures 448 x 284 x 155 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 9.3 kg. It achieves a maximum efficiency of 93 %. Its Vario fan cooling system maintains an ambient temperature range of -25 to +60 °C. The unit has an IP23 protection rating and complies with CE, E-mark, and AZ/NZS certifications. It supports versatile operating modes including inverter, charger, DC power supply, power sharing, and AC input support.
