Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for demanding professional, semi-professional, and recreational marine applications, the Mastervolt Mass 24/75 (120V) battery charger provides reliable power even in extreme conditions. It delivers a nominal output voltage of 24 V with a total charging current of 75 A at 28.5 V, and accepts a nominal input voltage of 120 V (range 90–130 V) at 50/60 Hz.
Advanced Charging Features
The Mass 24/75 uses an automatic 3-stage+ IUoUo charging characteristic to optimize charging for Gel, AGM, flooded, and Lithium Ion batteries. Charging voltages are 28.5 V in Bulk and Absorption, with a 4-hour absorption duration. Float voltage is 26.5 V for flooded batteries and 27.6 V for Gel/AGM batteries. This charger is compatible with a recommended battery capacity of 80 to 1000 Ah or more. It includes a temperature sensor for DC voltage compensation.
Robust Design and System Integration
With dimensions of 420 x 318 x 130 mm and a weight of 7.7 kg, the Mastervolt Mass 24/75 (120V) charger features a robust construction. Its lightweight stainless steel and anodized aluminum housing, combined with internally coated components, protects against moisture and condensation. Its design ensures resistance to vibration and shock. It provides stable, ripple-free 24 V power even without connected batteries, and includes a current control function to prevent fuse tripping. The charger is GMDSS-compliant, meeting SOLAS regulations for alarm monitoring. Integration into a MasterBus network is simplified via a single cable, enabling centralized monitoring and control. It is immune to external electromagnetic effects. It is certified CE, ABYC A-31, DNV GL, and Lloyd’s. Connections comply with IEC60945.
