Detailed description
Detailed description
The Navico 000-0127-30 Ethernet cable, 7.6 meters in length, is a fundamental component for creating an integrated onboard navigation network. It allows for the connection of multifunction displays (MFDs), sonar modules, radars, and other compatible peripherals from Navico group brands, including B&G, Lowrance, and Simrad.
High-Speed Connectivity for Critical Data
This cable ensures high-speed data transfer, essential for sharing critical real-time information such as charts, sonar views (including StructureScan and CHIRP), radar targets, waypoints, and routes between multiple displays. Unlike an NMEA 2000 connection designed for low-bandwidth data, the Ethernet network is optimized for large data streams, guaranteeing a smooth, latency-free image on all displays in the network.
Robust and Standardized Marine Design
The cable is equipped with the 5-pin yellow connector, the standard used for all Navico Ethernet networks. This connector is specifically designed for the marine environment, offering a secure and waterproof connection for maximum reliability against vibration and corrosion. The 7.6-meter (25-foot) length provides sufficient flexibility for most installations on small to medium-sized boats, allowing connection from a helm station to a radar radome on a radar arch or to a second navigation station.
