Detailed description
The NAVICO StructureScan Single through-hull transducer, made of stainless steel, is designed for Lowrance and Simrad Yachting StructureScan 3D systems. This transducer delivers advanced sonar imaging capabilities, including StructureScan 3D, DownScan Imaging™, and SideScan (starboard and port), as well as 3D imaging technology.
Performance and Technical Specifications
With its exclusive 3-channel beam, the transducer operates primarily at a frequency of 455 kHz, allowing a maximum depth of 92 meters (300 feet) and a lateral coverage of 183 meters (600 feet) on each side. It also supports the 800 kHz frequency for enhanced definition. The transducer integrates a temperature sensor and is powered by 12V DC, with an input voltage range of 10V to 17V. Its transmission power reaches 500W RMS and 4000W peak. Communication is via Ethernet, supporting up to 3 shared devices. The transducer cable measures 7.6 meters (25 feet).
Design and Installation
The low-profile design of the StructureScan Single through-hull transducer minimizes drag once installed on the hull. Constructed from stainless steel, it ensures resistance to harsh marine environments and electrolysis. For optimized performance at higher speeds, an optional fairing block (000-13581-001) is available. For boats with steep or variable hull deadrise angles, the use of a pair of StructureScan 3D stainless steel through-hull transducers (000-13560-001) is recommended for optimal SideScan, DownScan, and 3D imaging visualization.
