Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for hulls with a deadrise angle of 0° to 7°, the XSONIC Airmar SS75M (0°) through-hull transducer delivers CHIRP performance of 600 W with accurate depth and temperature readings. Its stainless steel housing ensures compatibility with all hull types, including fiberglass, wood, and metal.
CHIRP technology and marine performance
This transducer uses mid-frequency CHIRP technology, operating across a frequency range of 80 kHz to 130 kHz. This frequency range enables improved bottom detection up to 274 meters (900 feet) and detailed target identification in shallow waters. The SS75M (0°) provides 5 to 10 times higher resolution than traditional transducers, distinguishing baitfish, gamefish, and underwater structures. Its beam angle varies from 24° to 16°, optimizing coverage and accuracy.
Installation and compatibility
The XSONIC Airmar SS75M (0°) low-profile through-hull design features a 0° tilted element that corrects the hull’s deadrise angle, ensuring the sonar beam is directed vertically for maximum echo return. Installation requires a 70 mm (2-13/16 in) hole for fiberglass or wood hulls, and a 79 mm (3-1/8 in) hole for metal hulls. It is ideal for boats up to 8 meters (25 feet) and comes with a 9-pin Xsonic connector and a 10-meter (33 ft) cable. This transducer is compatible with Navico devices such as Lowrance HDS Carbon, Elite-Ti, Simrad Evo³, Go XSE/XSR, and B&G Zeus³/Vulcan FS, and features Xducer ID® technology for automatic recognition.
