The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 12/48-8A isolated DC-DC charger is a 3-stage adaptive charging converter designed for systems requiring a voltage conversion from 12V to 48V. This 380W model (at 40°C) or 430W (at 25°C) delivers a continuous current of 8A at 40°C, with an efficiency of 89%. It is an essential solution for marine or land vehicles equipped with a smart alternator (Euro 5 or Euro 6), where the charging voltage may be insufficient for a 48V service battery.

This charger features 200 VDC galvanic isolation between input, output, and case, ensuring enhanced safety and preventing ground loops.
