Detailed description
Detailed description
The XSONIC Airmar B75H (12°) through-hull transducer is designed for fishing and navigation applications requiring high-frequency CHIRP precision. With a power output of 600 W, it provides depth and water temperature data, optimized for fiberglass or wooden hulls thanks to its bronze housing.
Advanced CHIRP performance
This single-band CHIRP transducer operates in the high-frequency range of 130 to 210 kHz, offering a total bandwidth of 80 kHz. This capability delivers five to ten times better resolution than traditional sonar systems, improving target detection and separation, whether for individual fish or complex underwater structures. The variable beam width of 15° to 9° is particularly effective for locating fish near wrecks or reefs, even in shallow water down to 214 meters (700 feet). The integrated Xducer ID® technology enables automatic recognition by compatible systems.
Tilted Element™ design and installation
The B75H model features Tilted Element™ technology with a fixed tilt angle of 12° to correct the hull’s deadrise angle. This design ensures the sonar beam is directed straight toward the bottom, maximizing echo return and reading accuracy. It is suitable for hulls with a deadrise angle of 6° to 15°. The low-profile through-hull installation requires a 70 mm (2-13/16 inch) hole and is recommended for boats up to 8 meters (26 feet). The transducer comes with a Navico 9-pin connector and a 10-meter (33-foot) cable, simplifying integration with Simrad and Lowrance compatible systems. The urethane acoustic window enhances performance and durability. Airmar certifies that applying Foulfree coating does not affect transducer performance, providing a non-toxic, long-lasting antifouling protection.
