Detailed description
The B&G WS310 wind vane and anemometer package is a wired solution designed to provide highly accurate wind data for cruising sailors and club racers. The result of over 500 hours of wind tunnel testing, its aerodynamic design ensures reliable and stable measurements in all sailing conditions and at all angles of heel. This complete package includes the sensor, a network interface, and a 20-meter mast cable for a complete installation.
Wind measurement performance
The WS310 sensor offers superior accuracy for optimizing instrument and autopilot performance. It provides stable and precise data, essential for layline calculations and B&G's advanced navigation functions. Data transmission occurs at a frequency of 10 Hz.

Wired installation and network connectivity
This pack (SKU 000-14382-001) contains everything needed for a wired installation. The included interface allows for a simple and robust connection to an NMEA 2000 network via the supplied Micro-C T-connector. The sensor also features a direct NMEA 0183 output, transmitting the 'MWV,R' frame at 10 Hz. The pack includes the WS310 sensor, a 20 m mast cable, the network interface, a mast bracket, a sealing gasket, and a Micro-C T-connector.
