Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for lightweight craft propulsion, the electric outboard motor ePropulsion Navy 3.0 Evo (SKU: NE-3000-S1) is a 3 kW solution equivalent to a 6 hp petrol engine. This short-shaft model, measuring 63.4 cm (25 inches), is suited to dinghies, dinghy keelboats, aluminium fishing boats and small rigid inflatables, capable of propelling vessels up to approximately 2700 kg displacement. It is designed for quiet, environmentally friendly operation.
Performance and Technical Specifications
The Navy 3.0 Evo delivers an input power of 3 kW and operates on a nominal voltage of 48 V, with an input voltage range of 39 V to 60 V DC. Its maximum overall efficiency reaches 51 %, with a nominal rotation speed of 2300 rpm. It generates a static thrust of 590 N (132.6 lbs). The motor features direct-drive brushless DC technology, ensuring quiet operation, low vibration and reduced maintenance. The applicable standards for this motor are ISO 16315:2016, Amd1:2013/COR1:2014/AMD2:2016/COR1:2016.
Design and Flexible Use
This outboard motor weighs 26.7 kg and measures 437 mm (length) × 314 mm (width) × 1049 mm (height). The 634 mm (25-inch) shaft length makes it ideal for transoms with a height between 400 mm and 500 mm. It is equipped with a two-blade composite propeller with a 10.2-inch diameter and 6.7-inch pitch. Trim angles are manually adjustable at 5°, 10°, 15° and 20°, with shallow-water navigation angles of 35°, 50° and 65°. The tilt angle (tilt) is 80° manually. The control system is compatible with the Evo remote control, Evo tiller handle, Evo side-mount control or Evo dual remote control.
Operating Conditions
The electric outboard motor Navy 3.0 Evo is designed to operate within a recommended ambient temperature range of -10°C to 45°C (14°F to 113°F), ensuring reliable performance in various climatic conditions.
