The FURUNO TZMAP13 + Echonautics TM70D600 pack combines a 12.8-inch Full HD multifunction display with a 600 W dual-frequency CW transducer. This solution is designed for navigation and underwater detection, providing a responsive user interface and accurate sounder capabilities.
FURUNO TZMAP13 multifunction display
The TZMAP13 display is a 12.8-inch TFT color multi-touch screen with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It offers a brightness of 1000 cd/m² (typical) for optimal visibility. The system integrates a 72-channel GNSS/WAAS receiver with L1 frequency reception (1575.42 MHz) and a 3-meter accuracy with WAAS, ensuring a 10 Hz position update rate. For cartography, it is compatible with TZ MAPS, MM3 Vector, and CMOR (USA only). Its memory capacity allows storing 30,000 user waypoints, 100,000 route points, and 200 planned routes (500 points per route).
Integrated sounder and Side-Scan
It offers TrueEcho CHIRP™ modes, ACCU-FISH™ (requires dedicated CHIRP transducer), Bottom Discrimination (requires 50/200 kHz CW transducer), Auto Gain, A-Scope, Marker Zoom, Bottom Zoom, and Bottom Lock. For Side-Scan, it uses CHIRP frequencies of 220-240 kHz / 445-465 kHz with a display range of 230 meters on each side and 8 high-contrast color themes.
Connectivity and robustness
The TZMAP13 has an NMEA 2000 Edition 3.100 port, a LAN port (100 BASE-TX), a USB port for data import/export, an NMEA 0183 serial output port, and a Micro SDXC slot. Designed for the marine environment, it operates between -15°C and +55°C and features IPX6 waterproofing. Power supply is 12-24 VDC.
Echonautics TM70D600 transducer
The Echonautics TM70D600 transducer is a 50/200 kHz dual-frequency CW type with 600 W power. Its beam angle is 42° at 50 kHz and 11° at 200 kHz (-3 dB). It allows reaching a maximum depth of 366 meters at 50 kHz and 213 meters at 200 kHz.
