Designed for the marine environment, the GARMIN ECLIPSE Flood Light 4" recessed flood light delivers intense white light with extended coverage for various onboard applications. This model is intended for discreet and efficient integration on surfaces such as cabin roofs, arches, stern platforms, or radar mounts, fitting within Garmin's ECLIPSE lighting collection.
Lighting performance and technical specifications
The ECLIPSE Flood Light 4" features 3 x 10 W white LEDs, delivering a luminous intensity of 1,500 lumens. It provides a 5,500 K color temperature and an oval beam of 70°-90°, ensuring wide and uniform coverage. Powered by 10 to 31 VDC, it draws a maximum current of 1.7 A at 12 V and 0.9 A at 24 V, with an average power consumption of 22 W. Its robust construction includes a powder-coated aluminum body and a frosted lens, ensuring IP68 waterproofing, protecting against dust and prolonged immersion.
Versatile integration and control
This flood light is dimmable as standard, offering flexibility to adjust light intensity. It can be controlled in multiple ways: via a simple on/off switch, a momentary switch (when paired with an ECLIPSE Command Center or a LUX Control Module), compatible multifunction displays (MFD), or smart devices (with an ECLIPSE Command Center or EOS-LUX Command Center). Electrical installation is via a 2-wire connection, or 3-wire when using control modules. The ECLIPSE lighting system is scalable, supporting up to 6 zones and various luminaire types for a complete installation. For installation, a 113 mm cutout is required. Unlike specific navigation lighting solutions or underwater lights, the ECLIPSE Flood Light 4" is optimized for surface lighting, providing a reliable alternative to traditional deck lights with the advantage of advanced system integration comparable to Lumishore or OceanLED centralized lighting systems.
