Garmin Ireland West Coast marine charts (SKU: 010-C1233-20) provide detailed nautical coverage for navigating the north and west coasts of Ireland, from Cork to Belfast. They also include inland waterways such as the Shannon and Shannon-Erne systems, Galway Bay, and Lough Neagh. Coverage extends to the southwest coast of Scotland, from Colonsay to Campbeltown. These charts are supplied on a microSD™/SD™ card and combine Garmin and Navionics® data.
Advanced navigation features
Auto Guidance+™ technology is integrated, combining Garmin and Navionics automatic routing algorithms. It calculates a suggested route from dock to dock based on desired depth and overhead clearance. The depth gradient feature allows visualization of up to 10 color options for targeted depth ranges. Contours down to 30 cm (1 foot) improve seabed structure representation for fishing and navigation in complex areas such as marshes, canals, ports, and marinas.
Visualization and updates
Shallow water gradient is customizable, allowing clear indication of low-depth zones. Charts benefit from daily updates with new content and modifications, up to 5,000 updates per day. A one-year subscription is included to access these updates via the ActiveCaptain® app. For enhanced situational awareness, Garmin Navionics Vision+ or BlueChart g3 Vision versions include high-resolution terrain shading, high-resolution satellite imagery, and aerial photos of ports and landmarks. 3D views such as MarinerEye and FishEye, along with NOAA raster chart downloads via ActiveCaptain, complete the features.
