LUX SL180, Strip Light, CRGBW, 4900mm

Designed for marine lighting, the Garmin LUX SL180 4900mm strip light provides a full-spectrum CRGBW lighting solution, including adjustable white light from 2700K to 6500K. This flexibility allows for varied onboard lighting ambiences, from functional lighting to colored effects. Each meter integrates 60 CRGBW LEDs, ensuring uniform and powerful diffusion.

Design and Technical Specifications

The LUX SL180 features a robust design with IP68 protection rating, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor installations above the waterline, though it is not designed for permanent submersion. Its construction uses UV-resistant material and has undergone salt spray testing, ensuring durability in marine environments. The strip is fully encapsulated and equipped with a seamless diffuser for uniform light output. It operates on an input voltage of 10.5 to 31 VDC via a LUX control module and has a maximum consumption of 0.6 A/m at 12 V or 0.36 A/m at 24 V, for an average power of 8.7 W/m.

Installation and System Integration

Installation of the LUX SL180 strip is facilitated by a 3M adhesive backing and the option to use screw-mounted clips. For wet areas or tight radii, the use of mechanical fasteners in addition to adhesive is recommended. A minimum bending radius of 50mm must be respected on the vertical axis, avoiding any twisting or bending on the horizontal axis. It is imperative to note that the strip light is supplied in ready-to-use lengths, factory-sealed to IP68 standards, and must never be cut. The system requires connection to Lumishore LUX Strip Light Driver control modules and is not compatible with third-party products or drivers, which would void the three-year warranty. Lighting control is possible via a compatible multifunction display, Lumishore display, smart device, or momentary switch, requiring the EOS-LUX control hub for MFD, Lumishore display, and smart device options. Dimming functionality is included as standard.
