Detailed description
Detailed description
The Garmin LUX SNL180 700 mm flexible neon LED strip light is an LED lighting solution designed for marine applications, suitable for interior and exterior installations above the waterline. It features full-spectrum CRGBW lighting (cool white, red, green, blue, warm white) with adjustable white color temperature from 2700K to 6500K, offering versatility to create various lighting moods.
Design and Technical Specifications
With 180 LEDs per meter, the LUX SNL180 provides uniform light without visible hotspots thanks to its integrated diffusion layer, an advantage over standard LED strips. Its flexible design allows installation around curved surfaces, ideal for coamings, cabin ceilings, or T-tops, with a minimum bending radius of 120 mm (side bending only, no twisting or bending along the vertical axis). The product is supplied in factory-sealed pre-cut lengths, ensuring compliance with IP67 standards, making it dustproof and protected against temporary immersion. It is essential not to cut the strip to maintain this integrity.
Integration and Marine Durability
The LUX SNL180 is designed to operate exclusively with Lumishore LUX Strip Light Driver modules (not included), requiring an input voltage of 23-25V via this driver. It has a power consumption of 5 watts per meter, with an average draw of 8.7 W/m, and a maximum current draw of 0.6 A/m at 12V or 0.36 A/m at 24V via the driver. Its construction is UV-resistant and salt spray-tested, ensuring durability in demanding marine environments. Installation is secured using provided stainless steel clips, which are screwed into place. The system comes with a 3-year warranty. Unlike more basic marine lighting solutions, the SNL180 is positioned to deliver superior light quality and installation flexibility for applications where aesthetics and performance are priorities.
