Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for ice fishing enthusiasts, the Garmin Panoptix pack (020-00293-04) is a complete, portable solution offering advanced underwater detection capabilities to locate fish and structures in real time.
Integrated transducers for versatile detection
This pack integrates two types of transducers for comprehensive coverage. The GT10HN ice fishing transducer uses CHIRP technology at high frequency (130 to 300 kHz) with 500 W RMS power and an adjustable beam width from 8° to 16° in 1° increments. It is designed for optimal performance in ice fishing environments. The Panoptix PS22 transducer offers real-time scanning capabilities with a frequency of 417 kHz and a peak transmission power of 48 W. Its dimensions are 32 x 118 x 96 mm (1.3 x 4.6 x 3.8 in.) and its weight is 380 g (0.84 lb.) for the transducer alone, or 840 g (1.85 lb.) with the bracket and cable. It operates on 10 to 35 Vdc and consumes a maximum of 8 W continuously. Its maximum range is 91.4 m (300 ft.), and it is made of ASA plastic. Its operating temperature range is -10 to 40°C (14 to 104°F).
Advanced display modes
The Panoptix PS22 transducer offers real-time scanning capabilities. The LiveVü Forward mode provides a real-time view ahead of the transducer, helping to locate fish schools and optimal drilling zones. The LiveVü Down mode offers a real-time view of what is directly below the ice, allowing you to observe fish reacting to the jig. The transducer angle is adjustable to optimize imaging in each mode.
Portable kit and battery life
The pack is designed for portability, featuring a rugged case and a carrying bag. It includes a sealed 12 Ah lead-acid battery capable of providing up to 11 hours of operation (actual runtime varies depending on the device used, backlight brightness, temperature, and battery age). The battery operates within a temperature range of -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F) and charges between -15°C and 40°C (5°F and 104°F). A 12 Vdc wall charger is provided for a full recharge in approximately 10 to 12 hours. The entire assembled kit with a device (not included) measures 311 mm × 367 mm × 254 mm (12.25 in. × 14.45 in. × 10 in.) and weighs 6.65 kg (15 lb.) without the device.
Assembly and installation
The kit includes a handle, a portable mounting base, device mounts, and all necessary components for transducer installation. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver. Hook-and-loop straps secure the battery in its compartment. The carrying bag features zippers for quick access to the battery and accessory storage.
