Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed specifically for ice fishing, the Garmin GT10HN-IF CHIRP ice fishing sonde delivers clear underwater imaging and precise target separation. It features a narrow-band high-frequency CHIRP traditional sonar optimized for winter fishing conditions.
Sonar Performance
The GT10HN-IF operates within a narrow high-frequency CHIRP range of 130 to 300 kHz, with a transmit power of 500 W. Its narrow beam angle (7 to 16 degrees) is suited for targeted detection of fish and jigs under ice. It reaches a maximum depth of 243 meters (800 feet) in freshwater.
Ice-Specific Design
The sonde’s beam shape and width are engineered to maximize performance in ice fishing environments, providing clear and wide fish arches. The 2.4-meter (8-foot) cable is coated with silicone to maintain flexibility even in freezing temperatures, preventing brittleness or damage. This 8-pin transducer is compatible with Garmin GPS/fishfinder combos and standalone fishfinders equipped with 4- or 8-pin connectors.
