NMEA Cable for APEX (720116-1)

Designed to extend the connectivity capabilities of your devices, the Humminbird AS-NMEA-APEX NMEA 0183 cable (reference 720116-1) allows the integration of NMEA 0183 compatible accessories (sold separately) to your Humminbird APEX chartplotter. This cable is specifically compatible with all models of the APEX series.

NMEA 0183 Connectivity

The AS-NMEA-APEX cable provides a dedicated connection for NMEA 0183 devices, an essential marine communication standard for data exchange between different equipment. With a length of 1 metre (40 inches), it offers installation flexibility to connect various sensors or instruments to your APEX system.

Installation and Safety

The installation of the AS-NMEA-APEX cable is facilitated by a waterproof connector designed for the marine environment. For a secure fastening, simply hand-tighten the screw nut. It is imperative to cut the power to the APEX chartplotter and the NMEA 0183 accessory before any manipulation. The technical documentation specifies that the red wire (Red) must not be used.
