The Humminbird HELIX 7G4-CXDTA pack, combined with the CoastMaster France chart, provides a complete solution for navigation and underwater detection.

Features such as Fish ID+, zoom, automatic or manual depth adjustments, and the Whiteline function improve bottom reading and target identification. The fishfinder also offers sensitivity options and a color bar display for clear interpretation of returns.

GPS reception enables precise navigation with 2D, 3D, or enhanced fix types (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS).

Advanced Features and Connectivity

The HELIX 7G4-CXDTA is equipped with a Triplog to record elapsed time, distance traveled, and average speed. The AutoChart Live function allows the creation of custom charts by recording sounding data, with customization options for displaying bottom hardness and vegetation. It is designed to withstand marine environments with an IPX7 certification, ensuring waterproofing up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It requires a 10 to 20 VDC power input.

CoastMaster France Chart for Detailed Navigation

The included CoastMaster France chart enhances the navigation experience with detailed cartographic data. It is compatible with the HELIX display and offers various chart orientation preferences: North-Up (North at top), Head-Up (heading at top, requiring a compass sensor or COG), COG-Up (course over ground at top), and Course-Up (planned heading or route segment at top during navigation). Chart layers include navigation information (navigation aids, light sectors, anchoring zones, routing data), water data (wrecks, rocks, obstructions, seabeds), and land data (ports, coastal features, roads, points of interest).

For safety, the CoastMaster chart includes functions such as sounding highlights (depths below safety depth displayed in red) and symbols (hazardous objects with a red outline), with an option to always display hazards. It is important to note that the CoastMaster chart is on an SD card that must never be formatted, as this would permanently erase the chart data.
