A pair of 7.7" M200 coaxial marine speakers with RGB lighting
Part number 010-04757-01 includes two JL Audio M200 marine coaxial speakers with nominal size 7.7", Sport Gray grilles, and RGB LED lighting.
Audio specifications
Each speaker handles 60 W RMS at 4 ohms. Sensitivity is 88 dB at 1 W/1 m; frequency response ranges from 45 Hz to 20 kHz (+/- 3 dB). Recommended amplifier power is 40 to 120 W per channel. The cone is injection-molded polypropylene with mica loading; the tweeter is a 25 mm silk dome.
Cutout and mounting
Cutout diameter must be 159 mm with a mounting depth of 78 mm. Outer diameter is 195.7 mm; the grille extends 35.4 mm beyond the mounting surface. Maintain a 205 cm compass clearance.
IPX6 protection applies to the front face when the speaker is correctly installed. The rear, wiring, and connections are not waterproof and must be protected from moisture. In exposed areas, mount on a vertical surface. Install above the waterline when mounted outside the boat.
Lighting and wiring
LEDs operate on 10 to 14.4 V DC, drawing up to 140 mA at 14.4 V DC per speaker. Garmin recommends a separate Spectra controller for color and effects control. Static colors can also be set via a protected 12 V DC connection.
Install a 500 mA fast-blow fuse per speaker on the LED positive wire, near the power source, in a marine fuse holder. This protection is required even with a controller. For direct connection, also use an isolation switch or circuit breaker. Use provided harnesses, disconnect audio power before connections, and isolate terminals from each other and ground.
