The XDM1000/5 amplifier features NexD™ Class D switching amplification architecture. It provides an RMS power output of 75 watts x 4 channels + 400 watts x 1 channel at 4 ohms, or 100 watts x 4 channels + 600 watts x 1 channel at 2 ohms. In bridged mode, it delivers 200 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms + 600 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohms. The minimum impedance load is 2 ohms in stereo mode and 4 ohms in bridged mode for channels 1 to 4, and 2 ohms for the mono subwoofer channel.

Audio processing and connectivity

The filtering system includes variable high-pass filters for channels 1 and 2 (50-500 Hz, 12 dB/octave) with a x10 multiplier for a range of 500-5000 Hz. Channels 3 and 4 feature variable high-pass or band-pass filters (50-500 Hz, 12 dB/octave). The subwoofer channel is equipped with a low-pass filter (50-500 Hz, 12 or 24 dB/octave).
