The Johnson Pump WPS 2.9 24V pressurised water unit is designed to provide a reliable and quiet water supply on board. Featuring an 85 W motor and operating on 24V DC, it includes integrated thermal protection for enhanced durability.
Design and materials
The pump body is made of nylon and polypropylene, while the valve housing uses polypropylene and polyamide. Valves are in Santoprene/EPDM and the diaphragm is in Santoprene, materials chosen for their resistance and compatibility with water. Fixings are in stainless steel, ensuring good durability in the marine environment.
Performance and installation
The WPS 2.9 24V unit supports a maximum liquid temperature of +50°C and a maximum ambient temperature of +60°C. Its operating cycle is intermittent, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. For connections, the unit is compatible with 3/8" BSP fittings for 1/2" hose (ø 13 mm). Installation must comply with standard SS-EN ISO 10133, with a fuse protected against ignition. During freezing periods, the system must be drained to prevent damage to pipes and the unit.
