The Lowrance HDS-16 PRO is a 16-inch multifunction display (MFD) designed for professional anglers and demanding enthusiasts. It sits at the top of the HDS PRO range, offering the largest display area and top-tier processing performance for unmatched fishing and navigation experience. This version ships without a transducer, allowing full customization of the system with your choice of transducer.
High-definition display and performance
The HDS-16 PRO screen is a 16-inch multi-touch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Its brightness exceeding 1200 nits and wide viewing angles of 85° in all directions ensure perfect readability, even in full sunlight. Compared to the HDS-12 PRO models (1280x800), the HDS-16 PRO delivers superior clarity and detail level, essential for displaying multiple information sources simultaneously such as charts, fishfinder, and radar.
Advanced fishfinder capabilities
Equipped with two independent 1 kW fishfinder ports (9-pin connectors), the HDS-16 PRO is compatible with the most advanced detection technologies. It supports low, medium, and high CHIRP frequencies, as well as high-resolution imaging technologies DownScan (455/800/700/1200 kHz) and SideScan (455/800/1075 kHz). This versatility allows pairing with high-power Airmar transducers or Lowrance real-time sonar systems like ActiveTarget for uncompromising detection.
Connectivity and system integration
The HDS-16 PRO is a true navigation hub. It features two 100BASE-T Ethernet ports for networking multiple displays, fishfinder modules, radars, and other peripherals. Connectivity also includes a Micro-C NMEA 2000 port and an NMEA 0183 port for integration with autopilots, AIS systems, and onboard instruments. Wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.2 enables synchronization with the Lowrance mobile app, software updates, and connection to third-party devices. An HDMI input and a USB-A port further extend its multimedia and connectivity capabilities.
