Intelligence and autopilot performance
At the heart of your onboard system, the MADBrain is a true navigation processor, designed to centralize and leverage all your electronic data. It captures boat movements and wind with exceptional resolution, up to 50 Hz, then interprets them in real time using its artificial intelligence algorithms. This intelligence transforms raw data into rapid, precise, and relevant decisions for your entire system. The MADBrain continuously evolves, logging navigations, learning from settings, and adapting its behavior to the boat and sailing style. Its proprietary high-precision inertial unit, equipped with 3 gyroscopes and 3 accelerometers, ensures advanced boat attitude analysis and ultra-fine true wind calculation—technology derived from America’s Cup and Vendée Globe developments.

The MADBrain Autopilot delivers unmatched steering precision, ensuring smooth and rigorous course holding even in unstable conditions. It reacts instantly to wind shifts, swells, or boat behavior changes, applying subtle corrections that avoid overreaction. Every helm movement is optimized to guarantee stability and control without unnecessary effort, reducing actuator stress and energy consumption. Native CAN bus and NMEA 2000 integration ensures plug-and-play compatibility with major brands such as B&G (ZG100, Precision 9, Zeus), Garmin (24XD, SteadyCast, GPSMAP/TD50), and Raymarine (EV-1, Axiom). It controls all electric or hydraulic actuators (linear or rotary) with high-frequency feedback (100 Hz) and helm positioning to the tenth of a degree, compatible with 12/24V systems.
