Detailed description
Detailed description
The Mastervolt EasyCharge 10A battery charger (part number 43321000) is a robust and high-performance charging solution designed for demanding marine environments. Part of Mastervolt’s EasyCharge series, it outperforms the EasyCharge 6A-1 model with increased charging capacity and extended versatility. This charger is specifically engineered for permanent connection to AC and DC systems in nautical installations.
Charging performance and intelligent management
The EasyCharge 10A delivers a maximum charging current of 10 A for 12 V systems and 5 A for 24 V systems, making it compatible with batteries ranging from 35 to 120 Ah. Unlike the 6A model, which only supports 12 V, the EasyCharge 10A-2 handles both nominal voltages. It features two independent charging outputs managed by Sense-Send technology. This function allows the charger to dynamically analyze the needs of each connected battery and distribute power optimally, reducing charging times—especially when batteries have different discharge levels. The charging cycle consists of 5 stages: reconditioning, bulk, absorption, float, and maintenance, ensuring a full charge and extended lifespan for lead-acid batteries (flooded, gel, AGM, spiral).
Robust design and advanced safety
Built to withstand marine conditions, the Mastervolt EasyCharge 10A features an IP68 rating, making it fully dustproof and submersible. Its rugged housing allows operation in ambient temperatures from –20°C to 50°C. Compact dimensions (140 x 198 x 63 mm) and a weight of 2.5 kg simplify onboard integration. Safety is prioritized with built-in protections against sparking, short circuits, reverse polarity, overvoltage, current limiting, and excessive temperature. This charger complies with California Energy Commission (CEC) standards and European directives 2014/35/EU (LVD), 2014/30/EU (EMC), and 2011/65/EU (RoHS), attesting to its reliability and regulatory compliance.
