Expert opinion

« The flexibility asset for Minn Kota Terrova and PowerDrive V2 motors »

The Minn Kota MKA-91 slide-mount bracket is a strategic accessory for owners of Terrova and PowerDrive V2 motors. Its practical value lies mainly in the flexibility it provides: it allows you to detach the motor from the boat’s bow in minimal time. This is particularly relevant for sailors who frequently transport their vessel on a trailer or who wish to secure their motor by removing it after each outing or for winter storage.

Installation is straightforward, performed on the boat’s deck. The slide-mount system ensures not only secure attachment during use but also easy unlocking. For anglers, this ease of mounting and dismounting is a major advantage for protecting their investment, especially in cases of theft or extreme weather conditions requiring motor removal. It is important to ensure that sufficient space is available on the bow to accommodate the bracket base and allow the necessary sliding movement.
