Detailed description
Detailed description
The Minn Kota electric foot control (reference MK-1866077) is designed specifically for Terrova and Riptide Terrova motors manufactured from 2017 onward. This accessory provides direct and responsive control of essential functions for your trolling motor.
Integrated motor function control
This foot control allows full management of motor operations. It includes a Momentary ON button that activates the propeller as long as pressure is applied, and a Constant ON button that keeps the propeller running continuously at the set speed. The Prop ON/OFF button offers momentary activation of the propeller independent of the Constant mode.
Precise navigation and maneuvering
Speed control is managed via a rotary knob on the right side of the foot control, allowing adjustment from 0 to 10. Motor direction is handled by the Heel/Toe Steering system, where pressure on the toe or heel of the pedal steers the motor. Steer Right and Steer Left buttons are also available for precise directional adjustments. An indicator panel displays the status of AutoPilot and Spot-Lock functions, which can also be controlled via the foot control.
Installation and ergonomics
Installation of the Terrova foot control is straightforward and does not require complex tools, with a 4-pin connection to the trolling motor. Pads are provided for use on non-carpeted surfaces, improving stability. It is recommended to place the foot control in an area free of water and debris to ensure proper operation and longevity.
