Detailed description
Detailed description
The Nexans H07RN-F TITANEX 3G4 cable is a robust and flexible wiring solution designed for demanding environments. This bare copper class 5 cable, with a 4 mm² cross-section per conductor, provides reliable connectivity for fixed or mobile applications. It features three conductors, including a green/yellow earth conductor, and is insulated and sheathed in black cross-linked elastomer.
Performance and compliance
Compliant with EN 50525-2-21, HD 516, and IEC 60245-4 type 66 standards, the TITANEX 3G4 supports a nominal voltage of 450/750 V for mobile use and 0.6/1 kV for fixed use. Its permissible current capacity in open air is 49 A, with a single-phase voltage drop of 10.1 V/A.km. This cable stands out for its mechanical shock resistance (AG3), flexibility, and resistance to chemicals, oils, and vibrations. The maximum conductor temperature in service is 90 °C.
Applications and durability
The TITANEX H07RN-F cable is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, including wet environments or in the presence of oils. Its UV resistance allows installation without additional protection outdoors. It has a minimum dynamic bending radius of 6 to 8 times its outer diameter (97.2 mm for a maximum diameter of 16.2 mm) and a static bending radius of 4 times (for a maximum diameter of 16.2 mm, i.e., 64.8 mm). Its reaction to fire is classified as Eca (per EN 50575:2014+A1:2016), and it is flame-retardant (IEC 60332-1, C2), limiting flame and smoke propagation. Unlike standard HO5VV-F cables, the TITANEX is specifically designed to withstand increased mechanical and environmental stresses, making it suitable for industrial, port, or event applications where robustness is critical. It is also lead-free and compliant with RoHS 2011/65/EU.
