Designed for boats from 5 to 9 meters, the Quick Prince DP1 12V 500W vertical windlass without drum is a vertical anchoring solution. It features a 500 W 12 V motor, delivering a maximum breaking load of 660 kg and a working load of 65 kg, with a maximum load of 200 kg. Its lifting speed at working load reaches 18.5 m/min, with a maximum chain speed of 25.2 m/min. Current draw at working load is 80 A.
Design and materials
The Prince DP1 is equipped with a base made of AISI 316 stainless steel and hard-anodized aluminum, ensuring corrosion resistance in marine environments. Its motor is waterproof with IP66/IP67 certification, while the gearbox is made of technopolymer. The "without drum" configuration offers minimal deck footprint and a clean aesthetic. Its weight is approximately 8.3 kg.
Features and compatibility
This windlass includes a sensor and magnet for an integrated chain counter (counter sold separately), enabling precise anchor chain monitoring. A manual free-fall system is included for quick anchor deployment. An inspection hatch facilitates maintenance access. The vertical design allows installation of the motor and gearbox below deck, optimizing available space. It is compatible with 6 mm chains (DIN766 or ISO).
