25 mm Elbow

The D009 reference corrects the height between the tiller and the autopilot ram. It helps keep the pushrod in a horizontal axis without stress.

This part is required when the tiller is not at the correct height relative to the ram. The reference depends on the measured vertical offset.

In the Raymarine manual, D009 corresponds to 25 mm when the pushbutton is below the tiller, and 51 mm when it is above the tiller.

This type of mount is used on Raymarine autopilot installations with tiller steering, including ST1000/ST2000 Tiller Drives and Evolution Tiller Drive, depending on cockpit geometry.

Measure the vertical offset between the ram’s axis and the tiller, then select the reference whose dimension matches the Raymarine chart.

The bracket/elbow adjusts the tiller height. An extension rod adjusts the longitudinal distance between the cylinder's fixed point and the tiller.

Installation depends on the boat and the autopilot. Follow the Raymarine manual and check the dimensions before any drilling or permanent mounting.
