Use only neutral marine-grade polyurethane sealants. Do NOT use sealants containing acetate or silicone, as they can damage plastic components.Test and operate the depth sounder only when submerged in water. Do NOT run it out of the water, as overheating may occur.Do NOT use antifouling paint based on ketone or copper. Use only water-based antifouling paint.Ensure the boat's electrical power is disconnected before starting installation. Do not connect or disconnect the equipment while power is active.

To ensure the mounting template for the display is printed at the correct scale, follow these steps in Adobe Acrobat Reader:

Open the mounting template document.Select File → Properties and note the page format.Select File → Print.In the print dialog, ensure the paper size is set to the same dimensions as the page format noted in step 2.Check that the "Size Options" and "Scaling" options (if applicable) are set to "Actual Size" or "None".Ensure the "Auto-rotate and center pages" or "Auto portrait/landscape" option (if applicable) is NOT checked.Select the appropriate orientation (portrait or landscape) to match the template orientation.
