The ROKK Mini Scanstrut kit (ref. RLS-508-401) is a tablet mount designed for flush mounting on flat surfaces of boats. It consists of a tablet clamp and a dedicated mounting base, allowing for discreet and secure installation. Unlike the adjustable mounts in the ROKK range, this model prioritizes fixed positioning and close integration with the dashboard, ideal for confined spaces.
Installation and compatibility
The kit includes a base (RLS-401) that is secured using four self-tapping screws No. 4 x 20, after drilling 2.5 mm pilot holes. The tablet clamp is attached to the base with an M6 screw and a large washer. The required tools are limited to a 5 mm Allen key and a Phillips screwdriver. Watertightness of the fixings is ensured by applying silicone (not supplied). This system is designed for small tablets, typically the mini models in the ROKK range. In comparison, the ROKK Standard or ROKK Pro offer compatibility with larger tablets and sometimes include articulated arms, but require a larger mounting surface.
