Detailed description
Detailed description
The Scanstrut DS40-P-BLK is a vertical bulkhead pass-through designed for connector cables with a diameter of 12 to 15 mm. Its black composite design ensures discreet integration and optimal resistance to demanding marine environments.
Installation and compatibility
This model is part of the Scanstrut range of watertight bulkhead pass-throughs. It differs from the DS30 (for 9-14 mm cables) by its 40 mm pass-through hole, suitable for larger connectors. The black composite version (BLK) is a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to the stainless steel version (S). The kit includes a shell, a base, a sealing gasket, a black M4X10 bolt, and four No. 6X16 self-tapping screws. Two reducing plugs are provided to precisely fit the cable diameter.
Technical specifications
With a drilling diameter of 40 mm (1.57 inches) and a height of 21.7 mm, it offers a reliable and aesthetic cable pass-through solution. Fastening is ensured by four screws, with suggested pilot holes of 2.5 mm for soft materials (plywood) and 3 mm for hard materials (fiberglass, acrylic).
