The Scanstrut PTM-R2-SL multi-support mast is a universal mounting solution designed to install a radar and a Starlink Flat High Performance antenna simultaneously on boats. This tapered high-quality aluminum mast, with white finish, enables clean and professional integration of equipment at the masthead or on a davit. It is supplied with a dedicated radar mounting plate (DPT-R-PLATE-01) and a Starlink antenna mounting wedge, ensuring optimal alignment.
Technical specifications and design
With a total height of 1153.5 mm and a base of 393.2 x 446 mm, the PTM-R2-SL provides a stable platform for your equipment. The mast includes mounts for VHF/GPS antennas (up to 1.5 kg per wing) and a watertight cable pass-through via a DS30 gland. The radar mounting plate is height-adjustable (from 210 mm to 330 mm between centers) to accommodate different models. The Starlink mounting system accepts an inclination angle ranging from 62.85 mm to 70 mm mounting diameter. The assembly is designed to withstand the most demanding marine environments.
Positioning and compatibility
This PTM-R2-SL model differs from the PTM-R1-SL by its specific radar mounting plate (DPT-R-PLATE-01 for R2, versus DPT-R-PLATE-02 for R1). It is compatible with radars from major brands (Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno, etc.) and is supplied with a riser kit for FLIR M100/200 cameras. Compared to more basic competing solutions, the PTM-R2-SL offers a more aesthetic integration and better cable management, while being specifically designed for the Starlink Flat High Performance antenna, an increasingly common piece of equipment on sailboats and yachts.
