The Scanstrut LMB-A1 aft radar mount is designed for 2KW/4KW radomes from Raymarine, Garmin and Navico (BR24, 3G/4G). It allows secure mounting of the radar at the stern of the boat, directly on the backstay, without drilling the hull or structural modification. This mount is made of anodized aluminum and 316 stainless steel, ensuring perfect durability in the most demanding marine environments.
Compatibility and installation
The LMB-A1 is compatible with Raymarine radomes (RD418HD), Garmin (GMR 18, 24, xHD) and Navico (Broadband 3G/4G). It installs on a backstay with a diameter of 4 to 6 mm and accommodates mounting heights up to 300 mm. The kit includes all necessary fastenings: stainless steel collars, screws and spacers. Compared to the Scanstrut LMB-A2 mount (for larger radomes), the LMB-A1 is optimized for compact 2KW/4KW radomes.
Construction and durability
Made from marine-grade anodized aluminum and 316 stainless steel, this mount resists corrosion and UV exposure. Its one-piece design minimizes weak points. It supports radial loads up to 30 kg and continuous vibrations. The stainless steel collar fastening ensures a play-free hold, even in rough sea conditions.
