Detailed description
Detailed description
The Victron Energy Phoenix 12/250-15 IEC 230V inverter converts DC power from your battery to stable 230 V AC. With a continuous power output of 250 VA (200 W) at 25 °C and a peak power of 400 W, it powers various AC loads aboard. Its 12 V battery system input voltage range of 9.2 to 17 V ensures compatibility with 12 V battery systems. Output voltage and frequency are adjustable (210–245 V and 50/60 Hz ±0.1 %), providing operational flexibility.
Advanced features and energy management
This inverter includes energy management features such as an ECO mode that reduces no-load consumption to 0.8 W (default for the 12 V model) and temperature compensation for charging voltages via an optional sensor (Quattro, MultiPlus, GX device or Smart Battery Sense). It is protected against output short circuits, high or low battery voltages, excessive temperatures, and high DC ripple. Monitoring and configuration are performed via the VictronConnect app using Bluetooth connectivity and the VE.Direct port. A 3-way switch (ON/OFF/ECO) simplifies operation.
Integration and technical specifications
With a maximum efficiency of 87 % and a no-load consumption of 4.2 W (12 V model), the Phoenix 12/250-15 inverter is suitable for marine installations. It supports an operating temperature range from -40 °C to 60 °C, with fan-assisted cooling and power derating above 40 °C. The IP21 protection rating makes it suitable for sheltered environments. Its compact dimensions of 86 x 165 x 260 mm and weight of 2.4 kg facilitate integration. The inverter is supplied with an IEC-320 male plug.
