The Garmin BlueNet™ to RJ45 network adapter cable (010-12531-02) is designed to integrate third-party devices compatible with the Garmin BlueNet network. This cable enables the connection of devices using a standard RJ45 port to Garmin’s BlueNet network, which supports speeds up to 1 Gbps. It provides an interface between the robust BlueNet connectors and the versatility of RJ45 ports, commonly found on non-marine-specific equipment.
Extended connectivity for marine systems
This adapter facilitates the connection of third-party equipment, OneHelm™ digital switching solutions, and Fusion® devices with an RJ45 port to the Garmin BlueNet network. It also allows direct connection of compatible Fusion PartyBus™ audio systems, IP cameras, and computers to a Garmin BlueNet device. This direct connection capability distinguishes it from the need for a BlueNet 30 gateway for most other existing Garmin Marine Network devices, which cannot be directly connected to a BlueNet network without it.
Design and network integration
The BlueNet network connectors, compact and water-resistant, are specifically designed for reliable performance and simplified maintenance in marine environments. The Garmin BlueNet™ to RJ45 network adapter cable ensures seamless integration and optimized network configuration for embedded digital systems. It is important to note that this adapter should not be used to connect older Garmin Marine Network devices directly to a BlueNet device, except for Fusion PartyBus stereos and IP cameras, for which compatibility is ensured.
