Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for demanding sailors, the Garmin GNX™ 130 marine instrument display (SKU: 010-01396-00) provides clear and precise visualization of essential data. This large 10-inch (25.4 cm) diagonal monochrome display, measuring 249 x 153 x 19 mm and weighing 820 g, is ideal for mast or cockpit installation, exceeding in size the GNX 20 and GNX 21 models in the same Garmin range. Its optically bonded 207 x 116 mm LCD screen displays numbers up to 2.75 inches (70 mm) tall, the largest in its category, ensuring optimal readability in all conditions.
GNX™ 130 Integration and Performance
The GNX™ 130 is NMEA 2000® certified and compatible with NMEA 0183 (via GNX 20 or GNX 21), enabling sharing of over 50 marine and nautical parameters. It integrates with the Garmin system and can receive data from Nexus® sensors via a GND™ 10 device (sold separately). Its low power consumption is a key feature, with 0.36 W in daylight (without backlight) and 0.4 W at night (medium backlight), operating within a 9 to 16 Vdc voltage range. The flush-mount design delivers a sleek "glass mast" appearance, and its IPX7 waterproof rating ensures resistance to marine environments.
Customization and Display Flexibility
The Garmin GNX™ 130 display offers fully customizable user profiles, allowing screen layout adaptation to individual preferences. Five display configurations are available: single, double, triple functions, as well as gauge and graph modes. Users can choose from seven backlight colors or create a custom color for optimized visualization. Additionally, the GNX™ 130 can display data from third-party tactical navigation software such as Expedition and Adrena, often using devices like the Actisense NGT-1 N2K USB or GND 10 (sold separately), reinforcing its positioning for performance navigation.
