Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed to extend the remote control capabilities of the Garmin OnDeck™ system, the OnDeck™ relay switch (12 V DC) enables the management of onboard electrical equipment via the OnDeck™ hub and the ActiveCaptain® app. This module integrates with the NMEA 2000® network and the Garmin marine network, facilitating power automation for devices.
Control and Integration
The Garmin OnDeck™ relay switch 010-13009-01 is a key component for remote management of your vessel. It allows you to turn on or off essential systems such as cabin lighting, refrigerators, fans, ice makers, battery chargers, and the main power supply. Each OnDeck™ hub can support up to five of these switches, offering flexibility to cover various onboard circuits.
Technical Specifications and Installation
Operating with a coil control voltage of 7.8 to 15.6 V DC, this switch is compatible with a hub input voltage of 10 to 15.6 V DC. Specific inputs such as "Vessel in service," "Bilge Pump 1/2," and "Battery 1/2" accept a voltage range of 10 to 32 V DC. An operating temperature range of -15°C to 85°C and storage range of -40°C to 155°C ensures functionality in various marine conditions. It is recommended to install a 1-amp fuse on all relay controls and inputs. Installation must be carried out in a dry location to preserve the device's integrity. Full access to the OnDeck™ system features and remote functions requires an active subscription.
